ABOUT US
A curated hub of trusted STEM resources—created by educators, for educators.
Who we are
What Sets The Elementary STEM Teacher Apart
Our goal is to be a trusted resource hub—a one-stop shop for STEM educators. With so many materials already out there, we focus on curating, vetting, and organizing the best STEM content in one easy-to-navigate space.
Many of the tools, templates, and lesson ideas we feature link directly to the original creators. We believe in giving full credit and recognition—so educators can find quality resources while uplifting the experts behind them.
About The Founder
I’m Sandra Ramirez, The founder of The Elementary STEM Teacher LLC., and a passionate STEM educator with over a decade of experience designing, teaching, and leading hands-on STEM programs in elementary classrooms. I hold three master’s degrees; in STEM Education, K–6 Science, and K–12 Mathematics; giving me both a strong academic foundation and real-world classroom perspective.
My path to education wasn’t traditional. I been through over 40 different homes and attended 11 different elementary schools. Over time, I disconnected from learning and eventually dropped out. But as the world around me shifted from cassette tapes to artificial intelligence; I found myself deeply curious about the systems, patterns, and innovations shaping our lives. That curiosity brought me back to education as a STEM enthusiast.
STEM was my first role in education, and I’ve been immersed in its evolution ever since. I’ve written my own curriculum, adapted trusted frameworks created by major STEM companies, and taught boxed programs such as FOSS. Through it all, I’ve learned:
There is no one-size-fits-all program. The best curriculum is the one that fits your students and your needs.
Over the years, I’ve seen a major challenge for educators: an overwhelming abundance of STEM resources scattered across the internet, with no clear place to begin. That realization inspired me to launch The Elementary STEM Teacher LLC—a one-stop, educator-driven hub where teachers can find, vet, and confidently use high-quality STEM lessons, curriculums, tools, and frameworks.
Today, I continue to teach full-time while building this platform to uplift fellow educators—connecting classroom-tested ideas with the teachers who need them most.
